Kaltura: Setting up custom meta data fields for media entries
Example:
You want users to attach copy right information to all media entries on your Kaltura account
Method:
1. Open Kaltura Management Console (KMC): KMC > Settings > Custom Data > Add New Schema > name the schema
2. Click Add Field > Field Name (i.e. CC License) > Field Type: Text Select List > Enter Values (i.e. BY-ND etc.) > Single Value > Save
3. Open Kaltura Media Space (KMS) Admin > Custom Data > profileID > select custom schema > Save
4. Open KMS > My Media > select any media entry > Edit > copy right values can now be selected by the users
